The real opportunity for success lies within the person and not in the job.” Zig Ziglar

WELCOME

The College has been abuzz with excitement after the announcement of Mr Garth Shaw as our

New Headmaster. Garth completes his final week at Claremont High in the Western Cape on Thursday 22 February. We eagerly look forward to a future where a Queenian, who studied B.Sc (Education – Mathematics) who has an Honours Degree in School Management and who is working part-time on a PhD in school management, and the provision of education to poorly positioned learners, takes the reigns to lead us into a bright and positive future.

Marionelle, Garths’ wife and three young future Dalians will join us at the end of the term. We wish you all the best Mr Shaw!

CONDOLENCES

Our sincere condolences are extended to Liyema Botha (GR 9LF) and his family on the sad passing of his mother. May it be of some comfort to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

PTA MATTERS

The PTA AGM was held this past week. Thank you to those who attended. An invite to join

the PTA is extended to all. If you are interested, please contact Mrs Govender on 043 64 21968
